Computational Services Across the Full CDMO Pipeline

ICDMO is a computational CDMO. We deliver the in silico layer at every stage of drug and biologic development — from target identification through molecular design, simulation and omics analysis — so laboratory and manufacturing effort is spent on the candidates most worth testing. Experimental work is planned with you and executed by your own team or a qualified partner.

Existing pages retained for review

These established pages have not been removed. Some overlap with the computational catalogue, while others describe legacy or partner-enabled experimental capabilities. They are grouped here for scientific and commercial review and should not be read as part of ICDMO's current 13-category computational service catalogue unless explicitly stated.

How We Work Together

Three ways engagements are structured

Computational work is commissioned in a few recognisable ways across the industry. We use whichever fits the question rather than pushing every project into one contract shape, and we will say which one we think suits you — including when that is the smallest of the three.

Defined project

Fixed scope, fixed deliverables, fixed price

The most common arrangement. Scope, methods, deliverables and timeline are fixed in writing after a feasibility review, and the price is agreed before work starts. Suited to a screening campaign, an analysis, a design panel or a structural study — anything with a definable endpoint. Most projects on this site fall between a few working days and eight weeks.

Fits when
▸A single question with a definable answer
▸First engagement with us
▸Budget approved per project

Programme support

Rolling cycles alongside your chemistry or biology team

Computational support delivered as repeating cycles over months rather than as one delivery — design, prioritise, wait for your data, re-analyse, design again. Each cycle has a stated question and success criteria, and every cycle closes by comparing what was predicted against what was measured. This is how structure-based design and multi-round engineering campaigns actually work.

Fits when
▸Hit-to-lead and lead optimisation
▸Multi-round protein or enzyme engineering
▸Teams without in-house computational staff

Retained capacity

Agreed scientist time reserved each month

An agreed amount of scientist time is reserved for you each month and spent on whatever the programme needs, with priorities reset at a regular review. Suited to groups with a steady flow of varied questions that would be inefficient to scope individually. Unused capacity is discussed at review rather than silently consumed.

Fits when
▸Continuous, varied workload
▸Fast turnaround on small questions
▸Long-running partnerships
Getting Started

What to send, and what happens next

Useful to include in a first message

▸The decision you need to make, and by when — this determines method choice more than anything else
▸Target identifiers, sequences (FASTA) or structures (PDB / mmCIF), including unpublished internal structures under NDA
▸Compound sets as SMILES or SDF, omics data as FASTQ or count matrices, assay data with its units and conditions
▸What has already been tried, including what failed — failures usually narrow the approach faster than successes
▸Constraints that are not negotiable: species, modality, chemistry to avoid, regulatory context, budget window

Please do not send confidential sequences or unpublished structures in a first message. Ask for an NDA instead.

What happens after you write

1
Reply · Within one business day
A scientist reads your message and either asks the questions needed to scope it, or says directly that we are not the right fit.
2
Scoping call · 30–45 minutes
We discuss the objective, the data you hold and what the result has to support. No quotation is issued before this is clear.
3
Feasibility review · 2–5 working days
We check your inputs against the proposed approach and state plainly where they cannot support it. This step is where we say no if the answer is no.
4
Written proposal · 2–3 working days after review
Scope, methods, deliverables, timeline, price and the limitations we expect to report, all in writing before anything begins.

Note: All services listed here are computational. Predictions prioritise hypotheses; they do not independently establish binding, biological activity, therapeutic efficacy, safety or clinical validity. Performance depends on input quality, target class, available structural evidence and the applicability domain of the selected methods. Deliverables are for research use only and are not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Not sure which service you need?

Describe the decision you are trying to make and the data you hold. We will recommend an approach, say what it can and cannot resolve, and follow up with a scoped proposal after a feasibility review.
